The interior of the Dining Hall Great Room was in need of a facelift after the kitchen and food storage area had been upgraded by Central Ohio Council.  In 2000, Denny the Ranger and several committee members commenced revamping the fifty-year old Tectum walls. The Universal Veneer Corporation of Newark provided the hardwood slabs the crew transformed into the beautiful, rustic walls that are in keeping with the architectural theme found throughout camp.  The rest of the facelift was made possible by the South Texas Drywall Company’s in kind donation and installation of the ceiling grid system.  New ceiling panels were donated by the Tectum Corp.  The new lighting was a gift from the Holophane Corp. Eco Systems, Inc of Hebron donated the 500,000 BTU furnace.  Well-el Services provided gas piping, regulation and installation
